BAMMS brings people together who enjoy spanking and a welcoming community of like-minded enthusiasts, whether you're a familiar face or joining us for the first time. Our parties offer a lively mix of exciting play and socializing in a friendly, open-minded atmosphere. We embrace the wide spectrum of spanking, from real discipline and traditional corporal punishment to playful or erotic encounters, classic role-plays, and dom/sub power exchanges. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast, just beginning to explore, or simply curious about what it's all about, you'll find a warm welcome here and lots of opportunities for fun play. Consent, respect, inclusivity, and good communication are essential to our events. Supported by our house rules, friendly house monitors, and a great community that values looking out for one another, these principles help create a supportive space where everyone can feel safe and comfortable exploring their interests, trying new experiences, and making new connections. BAMMS is open to all 18+ adults, while primarily intended for and attended by men, adult boys/bois, and male-identifying, male-presenting, and masc-of-center people seeking similar connections. In that respect, we differ from pan spanking events, which often lean more towards hetero than m/m connections. That said, we're not specifically a queer/gay party, and we warmly welcome people of any sexuality, and of any ethnicity, background, or experience level, with zero tolerance for any transphobia or racism. BAMMS was originally born out of a desire to bring m/m spanking parties back to the Bay Area. When the long-running, monthly 'SF Mens Spanking Party' ended during the pandemic, nearly five years passed without similar events. After appeals by many community members, our founder launched BAMMS in 2025 to fill the gap as a new, independent event, with updated approaches and better inclusivity. Since then, the BAMMS parties have grown substantially, built a great community and seem to just keep getting better each time. Our hope is to keep these gatherings going as a sustainable, community-driven endeavor for years to come. We make a special effort at BAMMS to create a welcoming environment where newcomers can feel comfortable alongside familiar faces. You don't need to know anyone, have any experience, or feel any pressure to participate in play. Whether you're coming to explore your interests, meet new like-minded people, enjoy the social atmosphere, or simply see what it's all about, we'd love to have you join us. Come as you are, explore at your own pace, and discover the connections and community that BAMMS has to offer[For more info for first-timers and/or beginners, CLICK HERE]
WHAT TO EXPECT
You'll first walk down the entry hallway and check-in at the front desk. There is an area to store belongings (free), plentiful food/refreshments and friendly 'meet & greet' socializing spots located on the first floor behind the front desk. The main, large play space is also on the first floor, past partitions at the rear of the socializing/refreshments area, and features spank benches, couches and other suitable furniture, and has a mixture of more public and more private areas. Upstairs there are more cozy and semi-private playspace nooks, including a designated 'Lavender Zone' where more sexual activity is allowed. [see 'House Rules'] There are also three bathrooms, including an ADA bathroom on the first floor.

THE VENUE
The Folsom Street Community Center is a wonderful and well-known kink space located in the SOMA area of SF, just a few blocks from BART and MUNI, and with numerous side streets nearby with non-metered parking. [for more info, see 'Getting There' below]The venue is the headquarters of the world famous Folsom Street Fair, producing its iconic fair, Dore Alley and large programming at SF Pride, among other major events. It also is a year-round resource for dozens of organizations, groups, and clubs, hosting events, community education and arts programming, and also houses the Center for Sex and Culture Library and Archive. Its leadership prioritizes those at the intersections of BIPOC and LGBTQ2I+ identity in their programming, recruitment and visioning for the future.
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING
Wear whatever feels comfortable to you. Most probably will be in casual street clothes. Feel free to bring paddles, belts, straps, tawses, canes, hairbrushes or anything else you might want to use to nicely redden a boy’s bottom. Some might bring bags of implements, others just need a lap and the palm of their hand (hand spanking is the most common form at our events)
HOUSE RULES + HOUSE MONITORS
* Consent is always required - you must ask before touching anyone or their equipment, and consent can be withdrawn at any time (CNC can be mutually agreed upon with clear boundaries within negotiated scenes and can always be withdrawn). Consent for one activity also does not imply consent for other activities without explicit discussion * The house ‘safe word’ is “RED LIGHT!”, which means activity must stop immediately and can only proceed again with consent - please see a House Monitor with any concerns * Be respectful, mindful and inclusive to help create a safe and welcoming space for everyone; there will be especially zero tolerance for any transphobia or racism * Follow proper kink etiquette: do not talk loudly near, walk closely through or otherwise disturb active play, and also do not too closely/’weirdly’ voyeur scenes without consent * Do not engage with anyone wearing a red wristband (let them approach you) * No blood (ex: over use of canes) or extreme play - if in doubt, ask a House Monitor * Touching or holding of intimate areas is okay with consent in all the playspaces, but no penetrative sex or solo jerking anywhere please, and no oral play, fast stroking, bodily fluids, or lube outside of the designated “Lavender Zone” on the second floor * Leave spaces as you find them, do not move furniture (regular chairs and wooden stools are okay to move) and do not hog desirable spaces (ex: upstairs back nooks/spank benches) for excessive periods of time so that others can use the spaces too * No video or audio recording anywhere, and photos only with explicit consent of parties. In playspaces: no photos and phones shouldn’t generally be out. Exceptions: a House Monitor may approve exceptions if all parties involved give explicit consent * No alcohol, visible intoxication, smoking, fire, firearms, or any illegal drugs or activity * No food or drinks outside of the front food/socializing area (none in the play spaces) * We reserve the right to deny entry or remove/ban anyone HOUSE MONITORS Please see the event host Damien or one of the friendly House Monitors wearing the ORANGE WRISTBANDS if you have any concerns, such as consent or other House Rule violations. Providing a consensual, safe environment is essential for all the amazing fun we have at these parties! Luckily we have a quite respectful community and thus far have had very few issues at any of our events. Everyone can help us keep it that way by being on the lookout for one another and please letting monitors know if you see anything that looks off.
LAVENDER ZONE
The party's focus is on spanking and we know it's important to many of our regular attendees to keep it that way, and certainly not have our events ever feel like just another SF sex party. That said, we know from polling our community that some attendees also enjoy having the option for some sexual activity along with spanking, and we want to provide space for people to enjoy those additions to their spanking play, while also respecting those who simply want to focus on spanking. The compromise is that all sexual activity - other than penetrative sex and solo jerking/masturbation (which can result in a bunch of voyeurs watching a scene while self-pleasuring and really change the vibe of a space) - is allowed in our designated 'LAVENDER ZONE' located on part of the second floor play space. Examples could be simply including some sexual pleasuring while giving a spanking, or ways of showing gratitude or providing a 'happy ending' after a good spanking. Additionally, touching or holding intimate areas is allowed, with consent, in any of the play spaces.
BIRTHDAY SPANKINGS
We looove giving traditional birthday spankings at the parties! Want to possibly be included at a party near your bday and have the crowd cheer you on? SIGN UP HERE And remember: If your actual birthday falls on Friday-Sunday of the party weekend, we’ll offer you free entry!
GETTING THERE
Accessing the venue is very via transit or car! The Folsom Street Community Center is a short walk (about 3 blocks) from the Civic Center BART and MUNI stops. It is also located on the 12 bus line and near several others. You can see it on the map below. If you prefer to drive to the venue, there are several side streets within a 1/2 block (Clementina, Dore, and Ringold probably in that order) with non-metered parking and there should be good availability on a Saturday afternoon. Alternatively, one could park at a BART station and take BART into the city (which is easy and safe if you haven't used the subway before) - best options with plenty of parking are probably West Oakland if coming from the east, or Daly City if coming from the south. The venue exterior is all black, with a silver door, pink building number and pointy roof, and will have an event sign posted on the front door.
